A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a finance graduate to join our client based in Aberdeen.


Responsibilities
Financial Management

  • Ensure the effective management and utilization of financial resources in accordance with the Company's financial regulations
  • Implement equal opportunities principles and practices within the finance team.
Account Payable

  • Manage incoming mail for the Finance team
  • Code and obtain authorisation for the supplier invoices
  • Enter authorised invoices into the SAGE accounting system
  • Prepare fortnightly payment runs
  • Process miscellaneous payment vouchers
  • Manage Worldpay (direct debit) invoice and (Purchase Ledger)
  • Code and enter authorised direct debit and credit card transactions on SAGE
  • Handle supplier queries and statements
  • Set up new suppliers and update changes to existing suppliers
  • Arrange faster payments for emergency payments
  • Manage Finance Credit Card activities
Data Management and Confidentiality

  • Provide financial /statistical information from various sources
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for information with attention to confidentiality and Data Protection Act compliance
Compliance and Standards

  • Adhere to ICT standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act
  • Observe regulations and rules related to timekeeping, discipline and Health & Safety
Professional Behaviour and Collaboration

  • Exhibit the highest standards of professional behaviour
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders based on, mutual trust and respect
Information Technology

  • Use appropriate management information systems
  • Work with information technology and systems in accordance with Company policies
Training

  • Undertake appropriate training associated with the duties of the post
