    You will be responsible for direct tax and transfer pricing compliance and advisory matter for ourUK business as well as supporting the Head of Tax & Treasury on other tax advisory matters and group projects.

    What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

    • ACA / ACCA qualification or recognised UK professional tax qualification;
    • Significant experience of Corporate Tax compliance and or Transfer Pricing experience;
    • Relevant tax and industry experience in both a compliance and advisory role;
    • Broad practical and technical experience of direct tax advisory and transfer pricing in a multinational environment;
    • Ability to research ad propose resolutions on complex tax / transfer pricing issues.

    How will I spend my time in this role?

    Direct Tax

    • Day-to-day corporation tax compliance for the Company and UK tax group, instructing local advisers and managing the completion of tax returns including all related analysis, research memos and support;
    • Support management by coordinating, implementing, and managing projects, ensuring their proper and efficient tax evaluation and execution;
    • Build strong relationships with other business functions including Treasury, Legal, Finance and Business Operations teams;
    • Co-ordinate and plan for improvements in reporting and seek ways to enhance the documentation and tax compliance systems to meet the UK tax group's reporting obligations (i.e. SAO support, Tax Strategy, Group Relief/AIA/Loss restriction coordination, Corporate Interest Restriction);
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively about tax matters across the Company and affiliates. Provide Tax support for commercial teams including some transactional and investment structuring decisions;
    • Manage and oversee country specific tax issues, including tax audits, liaison with internal and external audit team to ensure timely delivery of requests;
    • Assist Finance on tax reporting matters for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including working with external advisors to prepare relevant tax disclosures for the statutory accounts;
    • Tax reconciliations and support for statutory and revenue audits;
    • Other duties as needed to fulfil tax responsibilities for the tax department;
    • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of a tax risk register;
    • Assist in the preparation of Senior Accounting Officer internal reports/ memoranda.
    • Support the Head of Tax on other international advisory matters and other projects;
    • Review of tax clauses in contractual agreements;
    • Respond to enquiries from Tax authorities as needed;

    Transfer Pricing ("TP")

    • Operational TP - implement, monitor, and maintain TP processes;
    • TP documentation and compliance – collaborate with external consultants to prepare, review and update contemporaneous TPdocumentation and local files for the Company and support for other Group entities;
    • Business Partnering – work closely with business and finance teams, offering ad-hoc advice and solutions;
    • Policy Analysis and Design – assist in internal tax/transfer pricing risk assessments and design policies if needed;
    • Provide periodic training and on-going support to Finance and across the business.

    What does hybrid working mean to us?

    Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
