    Description

    Fane Valley Feeds wish to recruit a commercially astute Finance Director to join the management team based at our Omagh mill.


    The Role:
    Support the management team with the development and implementation of the strategic plan and associated action plan for the business;
    Establishing financial measurement standards and developing systems to monitor performance against targets;
    Evaluating and reporting departmental performance with the Managing Director and other key managers;
    Support management in a review of finance and administration activities of Fane Valley Feeds and related group businesses to ensure maximum efficiencies are delivered within the group;
    Ensure that research and development expenditure is clearly identified and captured within the group's wider tax management strategy;
    Create implement and operate budgeting and management controls;
    Contribute to the ethos of continuous improvement and performance management;
    In conjunction with the Group IT Manager support the development, management and implementation of the Information technology strategy for the business;
    Responsible for the development of all employees within your area of responsibility.


    The Person:
    Qualified accountant holding ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional qualification;
    Ideally have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial/manufacturing environment;
    Previous experience of leading and managing a finance team;
    Possess excellent IT skills including MS Office Skills and in, particular, Excel;
    Experience of installing new IT business systems and developing the necessary reporting information;
    Experience of involvement in the development and delivery of business strategy;
    Experience of introducing new processes and managing change;
    Have excellent business acumen and commercial awareness;
    Can communicate effectively at all levels and build positive relationships with key stakeholders;
    Enthusiastic and hard working with ability to work under own initiative;
    Strong analytical and interpreting skills;
    A knowledge and awareness of the agricultural industry in Ireland is desirable.
