    Description


    Mechanical Systems Engineer (Rail Rolling Stock) - East Midlands - 12 Month Contract - £40 per hour (Outside IR35)

    ARM are partnering with an international consultancy, specializing in supporting railway and other engineering clients worldwide. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract in the East Midlands.


    About You:

    • You are a skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer.
    • Your expertise includes designing engineering systems, particularly in railway fleet rolling stock.
    • You have proven experience in crafting technical purchasing specifications, developing requirements, and defining test specifications.


    Responsibilities:

    This role involves assisting the company's customer in designing the newest train rolling stock. You will collaborate with team members to deliver the latest fleet to customers in the UK and abroad.

    This role is entirely site-based in Derby, East Midlands, working full-time office hours within a 12-month contract.


    What to Expect:

    The compensation for this position is £40 per hour, classified as outside IR35.
