Claims Handler - Property FieldHours:
Full Time / 37.
Salary:
Up to £24,000 depending on experience
Hybrid working available
We are currently looking for an individual who has experience as a claims handler - ideally within the property sector to join our well establishedclient in Newcastle under Lyme on a permanent and full time basis.
This role would involve managing and settlinga caseload of insurance claimswithin the property (home-buyer, protection, gadget, household, leisure and property lines) and provide quality customer service at all times.
To act as the first point of contact with policy holders wishing to make a claim under their designated insurance coverCreate a claims file; accurately logging comprehensive details of the claim.
Handle claims queries in relation to policy cover, claims status, policy exclusions and excesses. Where appropriate investigate claims to ensure payments are made only where coverage is established.
Effectively handle all claims from registration to completion.
Use a variety of communication approaches to build rapport and a positive relationship to help manage the customer predicament and deliver the right outcome.
Proactively identify opportunities to develop internal systems and processes and,where appropriate, reduce costs whilst ensuring we deliver a quality, customer focused service to our policy holdersExperience working as a claims handler is desirable, especially within the property sector
Experience working in an office/customer service sales environment
