    Description

    HMS are recruiting Plumbers to join an integrated team delivering a first-class construction and maintenance service.

    This is an important role in which you will:

    • Carry out all types of plumbing work both internally and externally including new installations, maintenance, and remedial works.
    • Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems across a variety of housing units.
    • Install fixtures and appliances such as water heaters, toilets, and sinks as part of refurbishment projects.
    • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, providing efficient and effective solutions.
    • Work closely with the maintenance team to plan and execute projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
    • Maintain clear and respectful communication with residents, ensuring they are informed of work being carried out and any disruptions are minimized.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, and ensure all work is performed to industry standards.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
    • Operate within a scheduled appointment systems or a defined programme of works.
    • Utilise IT and communications equipment.
    • Avail of individual and corporate training and development.
    • Deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality, and productivity.
    • Drive a company van.

    To be successful in this role you need:

    • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing or Craft Discipline.
    • CSCS card at appropriate level.
    • Time served apprenticeship.
    • Experience of Plumbing, building maintenance & construction activities.
    • Full UK or EU driving license.
