Time Appointments are recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics company who are looking to bring an experienced individual into their business.
Our client support and value their staff and want to onboard an ambitious and hungry leader with real drive and determination to grow the business in line with the 5 year business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outside sales presence across the UK nationally, anticipate 23 days per week on the road
- Core is quality of sales calls not quantity
- Occasional overseas travel as/if required
- Represent the company at various Trade Fairs and Expos
- Selling the company's specialised areas
- Reefer, Remote Locations and Relief Cargo specialising in frozen cold storage / inland distribution / road, air & seafreight / customs clearance services
- Maintain customer opportunity management within CRM system, helping to create Sales Pipeline
- Assist senior management team with production of annual budgets
- Maintain and develop in conjunction with Commercial Head an annual Sales Plan
- Key account management on a Commercial basis for designated clients
