Job Description:


Duties for the Commercial Accountant role will include:

  • Working closely with the Commercial Team to review customer performance across the Group to include looking at credit terms, advance payments and cash allocation
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of appropriate levels of financial control for all financial processes, systems and documentation
  • Assisting with the monthly reporting process to ensure accurate and timely data is provided this will include job reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Involvement in bank reconciliations and completing daily tasks and reporting within financial deadlines
  • Participation in projects and contribute with perspectives on profitability, innovations, new business, and other matters as may be appropriate from time to time
  • Aiding as required to other senior members of the team
  • AAT Level 3/Level 4 qualified
  • Experience in a similar accounts / finance role is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good organisational and administration skills
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Proven problemsolving and analytical skills

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 3.00pm


Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum
