- Responsible for allocating resources to client demand to ensure that all clients are sufficiently resourced;
- Leads the annual resource planning process and adheres to ISQM1 workforce planning processes.
- Ensures our resourcing system is accurate and up to date to inform forecasting and capacity.
- Manages risk and ensures resource is prioritised as appropriate;
- Deals with escalations and conflicting demands, resolving these with Partners and Managers;
- Works with senior stakeholders to track pipeline and new wins, focusing on the resource planning & transition requirements. Provides commentary on resource required for the bid / no bid process.
- Manages utilisation levels and other key performance indicators;
- Provides regular reporting and insight to business leaders on upcoming capacity, peaks, and conflicts to enable business decisions; and
- Monitors headcount levels and recruitment needs to ensure we have the resources required.
- Helps to onboard new joiners and provide training on our resource tool and operational excellence expectations.
- Supports development of our people by understanding performance levels, preferences and career goals.
- Workforce planning / resource deployment experience essential, ideally within a professional services / consulting environment;
- Problem solver who is resilient and robust.
- Strong business partnering and communication skills.
- Data analysis and ability to extrapolate key messages for senior stakeholders

About the team
Resource management is an operational function at Forvis Mazars which is focused on client delivery, risk management and developing our people. This role is part of a small and specialist resourcing team operating nationally across a business area and sits as part of the client facing teams. The role reports into the Director of Operations and Resourcing, and works closely with senior leaders overseeing c200 resources across the UK in a high growth business. There is a high degree of change management, process set up and independent working required in the role.
