- Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Provide expert advice to clients on planning policies and regulations.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and research to support planning proposals.
- Work closely with colleagues, architects, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Keep abreast of changes in planning legislation and contribute to the development of planning strategies.
- Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
- Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards chartered status.
- Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within a private consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
