- Provide expert advice on planning policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Mentor and support junior members of the planning team.
- Experience in the private sector is preferred, but candidates with public sector experience will also be considered.
- Ideally chartered with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
