    We seek to appoint a full time cardiology interventional fellow for 1 year.

    Our unit has one of the largest volume and highest quality complex PCI programmes in the UK and recognition for excellence in intravascular imaging (both OCT and IVUS), both services being delivered by national and internationally regarded trainers.

    We would welcome applications from candidates who have completed their SpR interventional cardiology training and are about to start looking for consultant grade positions (or equivalent).

    The contract will be held with the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS FT.

    The fellow can expect to perform around first operator cases per year and develop high-level skills in adjunctive PCI tools such as IVUS, OCT, rotational atherectomy and lithoplasty as well as CTO PCI (AWE, ADR and retrograde).

    In addition to excellent clinical and procedural training all fellows are expected to participate in departmental research and educational programmes, present at national and international conferences, and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

    Qualifications and Training
    Training in Cardiology to ST3 level
    Experience in Cardiology
    Competence in medical statistics
