The overall responsibility of the Asset Manager is to minimise losses and improve acceptance of company stock across the whole of the UK and Ireland but more specifically within the geographical area of responsibility.

The role is a critical one for a poolingbusiness because firstly it provides the "human face" of an Asset Hiring business to Retail and other collection points on the ground and secondly it ensures that the Company's stock pool works satisfactorily with mínimal asset loss.


General duties:

  • To maintain and reenforce strong relationships with your team and colleagues.
  • To maintain positive professional working relationships with all business contacts in a problemsolving environment.
  • To resolve issues in own area of remit and where more senior intervention is required, passing wider issues through to the appropriate team in a timely manner to facilitate accurate final resolution.
  • Work at reducing the Loss Percentage in the business through constantly working with other stakeholders.
  • Perform customer or other stock takes when required which may need to be in unsociable hours.
  • Work with the Asset Management Team Leader and Operations Manager to identify innovative and smarter ways of working to control losses.
