    Description

    Liquidity Manager at Legal & General

    We are seeking a Liquidity Manager to join our Group Treasury Functions team at Legal & General.

    The main goal of this role is to enhance liquidity management, ensuring there is a robust liquidity reporting function that predicts liquidity generation accurately, maximizing the available liquidity for investments by the Group and Business Units.

    What you'll be responsible for:

    • Developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive liquidity reporting system to forecast liquidity generation and distribution by Business Units.
    • Producing high-quality, precise, and timely reports on forecasts and monitoring actual liquidity generation compared to planned forecasts.
    • Providing expertise on liquidity optimization projects to drive improvements and growth in the liquidity infrastructure while maintaining risk appetite.
    • Fostering relationships with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Collaborating with second-line and Group ALM on strategies for stress testing for liquidity and collateral.
    • Keeping abreast of regulatory updates from the Prudential Regulation Authority to ensure compliance.
    • Implementing processes to support Group Treasury in meeting regulatory obligations and ensuring fair treatment of customers.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in Liquidity or similar Finance/Risk/Actuarial roles.
    • Expertise in Liquidity and Collateral Risk.
    • Familiarity with treasury instruments like money market, foreign exchange, and derivatives.
    • Knowledge of financial markets where Group Treasury operates.
    • Strong balance sheet understanding.
    • Excellent technical and modeling skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Attention to detail and strong relationship-building skills.
