- Carrying out maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment across the facility, for example, gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals and pipework.
- Recording tasks, faults and resolutions on a computerised maintenance management system.
- Mentoring and training staff.
- Working in accordance with the company's safe systems of work and permit to work systems.

With their headquarters in West Bromwich, they are true pioneers within the chemicals industry.Due to the retirement of a long-standing member of the maintenance department, an opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in West Bromwich and support within a lower tier COMAH facility.
Working within the talented Mechanical team and reporting into the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the key responsibilities for your new role are as follows:My client is keen to hear from people who possess a Level 3 in a practical mechanical fitting or engineering discipline and who have a minimum of three years supervisory experience, in addition.
In return, my client is offering an excellent salary circa £45,000.A benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days holiday, plus Bank holidays, pension, life assurance and paid sick leave.
