We are looking to recruit a Labourer with effective communication and customer service skills to join our established property care team.

Reporting to our Area Manager - Repairs our Labourers provide general labouring work to assist our operatives to deliver an effective maintenance service to our customers.


What do our Labourers do;


Working collaboratively within our wider property services team our Labourers carry out general maintenance works on both domestic and commercial properties, undertaking small repairs and allied trade works.

Our Labourers are required to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers and cement mixers and excavate and backfill trenches.

In addition our Labourers will clean and prepare sites and gardens as required, ensuring that every job site is clean and safe by handling and storing tools correctly and ensuring the safe removal and disposal of any debris and waste.


What we are looking for;

  • City and Guilds Craft or minimum NVQ level 2 in an appropriate craft based trade or substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidiscipline team
  • Experience of delivering quality work on time
  • Managing and prioritising a demanding workload


This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to our customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.

You'll be based in the communities we serve and will work under minimum supervision and as part of a team using a flexible approach.
