Provide risk assessment and management advice for colleagues in acute services.
Provide excellent clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team to stabilise acute mental illness and manage risk.
Service users will have divergent pathways including remission to prison, transfer to the rehabilitation ward and in some cases direct discharge to the community.
Deliver high quality efficient and effective care for service users working in a trauma informed collaborative way.Teach, train and supervise junior medical staff and other professionals
The post holder will join the Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust general adult on-call rota and will be third on-call.
Full registration with the General Medical Council with a license to practiceCCT or CESR in Forensic or WAA psychiatry (with appropriate experience) or inclusion on the GMC specialist register anticipated within the next 6 months
