    About you:


    As Construction Marketing Director you'll be an integral part of both the marketing leadership team and the Construction Divisional Management Team, working closely together with our sales, product development and customer success functions to deliver against our ambitious growth plans.

    Covering multiple markets (UK, US and AU), you have a proven track record of leadership, creating and delivering marketing strategies against key business objectives, ideally across multiple geographies.

    You provide strategic direction from both a marketing and business perspective, to senior business stakeholders at board level.

    As a proven marketing leader, you will demonstrate extensive experience of managing and leading teams of marketing professionals and delivering against core KPIs.

    You're a leader who shows vision and fantastic stakeholder management skills.

    You're comfortable challenging your teams and senior stakeholders across Access to deliver results for our customers, our people and our investors.

    You're not afraid to question the status quo.

    You have a clear understanding of the strategic requirements of the business and you're able to balance that with the needs of our divisions and most importantly our customers.

    We are looking for someone to lead our global marketing team within our fast-paced Construction ERP division. Experience in the Construction industry is strongly preferred, and experience with the US market is essential. Day-to-day, you will:Strategic Marketing

    • Partnering with the General Manager of Construction and Global Sales Director to understand key business drivers and align on targets, resources and expectations
    • Support the business to better deliver and integrate acquisitions against the agreed business plan
    • Be the voice of the customer inside Access - Understand business goals and pain points and create open lines of communication to and from the market.
    • Actively articulate the divisional vision and how Access solves challenges to prospects, customers, and industry leaders
    • Provide marketing vision and leadership for the product lines. Own positioning, and the overall go-to-market plans. Using an 'Access First' approach to ensure alignment of sales and marketing to maximise impactPipeline and Revenue focus
    • Support the divisional teams through the acquisition process ensuring acquisitions deliver on the business goals in the first 12 months
    • Ensure the division delivers the Marketing "Backward Sales Plan" targets through best in class demand generation programs
    • Collaborate with the central marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all programmes
    • Work with the wider ERP Marketing Leadership team to align targets, resources and expectationsLeadership & Team
    • Building a high performing global divisional marketing team that delivers on their targets
    • Motivate and inspire a team of marketing professionals to execute the divisional marketing strategy and plans.
    • Prioritise and manage workloads in order to ensure strategic objectives are resourced and met in all geographiesData and Operations
    • Input into the evolution of Access' Marketing Performance metrics, being able to communicate this at all levels and flag changes that require attention
    • Compliance with data regulations through robust processesYour skills and experiences might also include:
    • A proven growth marketer with experience in a B2B demand generation role
    • Construction industry knowledge and experience in US market strongly preferred
    • Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders
    • Solid understanding and experience of lead generation, website optimisation, content marketing and its role in the customer journey and full funnel
    • Able to roll sleeves up and deliver marketing initiatives, as well as confidently develop marketing strategy and plans that deliver strong growth.
    • Commercially minded, and able to make decisions and recommendations regarding where to invest marketing spend and generate most ROI.
    • A natural hunger for making an impact, and who isn't afraid to challenge the status quo to hit targets.
    • Demonstrates true accountability and ownership of strategy, plans and outcomes.
    • Please note that this position is cross geographies and requires teamwork across time zones, so some earlier starts working with colleagues in US, Europe and Australia will be required

    Measures of success:

    • Product pipeline volumes vs target - both driving marketing sourced and working with sales teams to deliver sales sourced leads.
    • Measurable growth in awareness and consideration amongst prospects.
    • Forecasting accuracy and revenue generated
    • Sales/revenue growth, with a clear connection between marketing initiatives and ROI.
    • Cost of acquisition and return on spend
    • Employee engagement scores
