- Meet with contractors, fabricators, and yards to build relationships
- Act as the subcontracts manager within the project management team
- Develop fabrication strategies and recommendations for senior management approval
- Oversee the acquisition process of fabrication and construction services for renewable energy projects
- Collaborate with technical and legal teams to draft and negotiate construction subcontracts
- Manage fabrication subcontracts during project execution and represent Aker Solutions to subcontractors
- Coordinate with construction site teams overseeing the contractor at the fabrication site
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to Aker Solutions' requirements and standards
- Handle claims and modifications in the subcontracts during project execution
- Degree in engineering, business, or related field
- Prior experience in offshore construction projects, such as construction management or methods engineering
- Familiarity with standard contract norms like NTK, FIDIC, LOGIK
- Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore EPCI projects
- Understanding of interfaces and interdependencies in EPCI projects
- Leadership background
- Capability to establish and nurture relationships
- Global work proficiency and ability to transcend organizational barriers; anticipate international travel
