The Consultant posts are for 10.30 Programmed Activities, 6.43 Direct Clinical Care, associated Supporting Professional Activities and 1.37 Out of Hours.

The post will comprise theatre sessions in addition to ICU, which will be flexible depending upon the service requirements. The successful applicants will participate in the 'out of hours' consultant on call rota.

This role attracts a recruitment and retention premia which is an additional 30% of the basic salary, to be paid in 3 instalments as follows:

  • 10% of basic salary on commencement of post
  • 10% of basic salary on completion of year 10% of basic salary on completion of year 2
In addition to this, permanent Consultant posts will attract relocation expenses up to a maximum of £8,000, Please refer to the Relocation Policy attached for further information
