Camp Administrator - Summer Camp - Chelmsford, Essex

Work Hours: 08:30-17:30, Monday-Friday. (Not exceeding 42.5 hours per week)

Salary Range: £452.48 - £581.08 salary per week based on various factors (February Half Term Contracts set at 2023 wage level. 2024 wage level effective from April 1.)

Reporting to: Camp Manager, Area Manager, and Central Office. Barracudas prioritizes the welfare of children and young people and expects staff to share this commitment.

CAMP ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct Induction Training and oversee Camp Set-Up days
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
Communicate regularly with Area Managers and Central Office
Manage high-risk activities and necessary paperwork
Assist staff during sessions when required
Handle camp bookings
Complete staff and children-related forms accurately
Act as a management figure for staff, parents, and children
Supervise children's Essential Information forms
Communicate with parents and guardians
Inform staff about children with medical or dietary requirements
Allocate staff leave as per guidelines
Monitor financial records and petty cash
Ensure cleanliness and organization of site and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

Attend mandatory Senior Training events
Display strong organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and Office 365
Ability to learn our booking system
Eligibility to work in the UK
Obtain an enhanced DBS check
Provide professional/academic references
Participate in Induction Training
Complete Online Training annually
Assist in camp pack up
Preference for Paediatric First Aid trained seniors

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Adhere to Health and Safety protocols
Be vigilant in addressing safety concerns
Report Child Protection issues to Central Office
Support children with special needs
Assist in medication administration
Be prepared for swimming sessions if needed
Handle various tasks as required by the organization
