    What team will I bejoining
    Youll be joining ourTrading andAnalytics Team where youll collaborate with seasonedtraders andenergy market analysts leveraging their expertise tooptimise ourtrading strategies. Youll receive detailed feedbackto fuel yourpersonal growth in order to help you bring improvementsin our teamsperformance. Your role will be primarily focused onproducing marketanalysis to help the Trading team stay one stepahead of ourcompetitors.

    What will I spend myday on atNoriker

    • Analyse UKenergy markets relevant to battery storage assets andprovideinterpretation of the results to maximise theteamperformance
    • Deviseandimprove our trading strategy in daily services auctions ofourbattery storagecapacity
    • Build upextensiveknowledge of the GB power market and National Gridbalancingservices and share findings regularly within theteam
    • Contribute tothecontinuous development of inhouse Trading software andITinfrastructure such as advanced forecastingtechniques
    • Trackcompetitorsactivities to assess their impact on our companysposition andstrategy

    • Bachelorsdegree in STEM Economics Data Science or asimilarfield
    • Minimum oneyearexperience in an Analyst role in power industry with a proventrackrecord of analysing energy data extracting meaningfulinsights andeffectively communicating this to diverseaudiences
    • Motivatedtodevelop a highlevel of expertise in energy marketsincludingelectricity pricing hedging and risk managementstrategies
    • Proficiencyindata and statistical analysis tools such as spreadsheetsdatabasesand/orPython
    • Flexibilitywith yourworkinghours
