Background:


The Property and Facilities Department (PAF) is responsible for providing a safe and efficient working environment for all University staff and students.

PAF manages all building services and the strategic development of the estate contributing to the delivery of City University London's strategic and operational objectives.

This is a fixed term contract until 31st July 2023.


Responsibilities:

Your duties will include working on reception greeting customers, visitors and students and dealing with their queries. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the visitor management systems. You will support University events and be hands on with the production of ID cards and event badges.

This role will require shift working: pm, pm or pm depending on the rota.


Person Specification:


You will have extensive hands on Receptionist experience, ideally within a Higher education or corporate environment; using you excellent communication and customer service skills to greet incoming visitors from across different parts of the University Campus.

You will have a flexible approach to work and be able to travel between different reception locations as required. You will be well organised and comfortable with independent working and managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Experience and competence in using Microsoft Office packages is also required.
