Description
We are currently partnering with a reputable housing association, who are recruiting for two Asset Managers to join their growing team on a temporary basis.
This is a temporary position with day rate of up to £350 UMB, and the start date is the 28th of May.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing housing Improvement, construction, service level contracts, associated repair works, and services contracts which include flat roof replacements, garage refurbishments, windows & doors, landscaping and kitchen and bathroom projects.
Ensuring contractors plan, programme and complete works in accordance with agreed specifications and schedules and within set performance targets; complying with all current regulationsManaging project works and programmes as detailed by the Planned Works Manager ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and to specificationEnsuring budgetary control is effective and efficient so budgets are not overspent, carry out analysis of budget trends and provide monthly forecastsCarrying out project specific surveys, in accordance with industry and/or agreed process and standards, produce relevant reports and/or agreed outputs, all to maintain agreed programmes for surveys and project worksExperience required:Contract Administration of Construction ProjectsMaintaining working relationships with Sub ContractorsSupervision of contractorsDealing with customer complaintsHNC / HND or equivalent level in Building, or Construction related subjectSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Ability to work under own initiativeAbility to embrace change and to contribute to efficient ways of workingBuilding working relationshipsBusiness & customer focusFlexibility, Good organisational skills, including prioritising and working to deadlinesRewards and Benefits:Offers Work from HomeFlexible Working DaysWorking hours:37.5 hours per week Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
