    About Us:
    At mhs homes, we are committed to providing high-quality services to our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our team and contribute to #teammhs.

    As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Procurement Manager in the development and delivery of cost-effective procurement and contract management services.

    You will lead procurement activities, ensure compliance with internal policies and legislation, whilst upholding ethical standards throughout the procurement process.

    Lead the full procurement life cycle of tenders and quotes, contributing to all aspects of the tender process.
    Support contract management, innovation, and continuous improvement by building strong supplier relationships and proactively managing services.
    Identify procurement opportunities through category management and support the development and implementation of operational objectives.
    Assist in training stakeholders across the business and raising awareness of the procurement function.
    Prepare procurement KPIs to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.
    Maintain and increase awareness of procurement practices through research and networking.
    Administer the e-procurement system and update procurement pages on the intranet and company website.
    Relevant professional qualification or working towards CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level 5) or equivalent experience.
    Knowledge of UK Procurement Legislation.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
    Experience in the housing or public sector.
    Comprehensive understanding of public sector procurement processes and governance requirements.
