- Modify and fault-find software for a variety of PLC platforms
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management
- Support Technical and Customer Services in the office and on site
- Participate in continuous improvement, helping R&D, Manufacturing, Customer Services, Drawing Office
- Knowledge of fault-finding and program changing on PLC (Rockwell - Siemens and others...) - Good mechanical and electrical skills: hands-on profile
- Ability to work alone but still be part of a team
- Ability to work away from home base for extended periods of time, both in the UK and overseas - up to 75% travel around the world

My client is one of the leading food processing equipment suppliers in the UK. They are currently in need of a Service Engineer. Peterborough based, but with travel both within the UK and overseas. They are currently in need of a Commissioning Engineer to join their Peterborough site.ROLE:
Working in cooperation with multiple project stakeholders, you will be responsible for the commissioning of equipment, and the supervision of electrical installation in customers' sites around the world.
You will be the ambassador of the company brand, as you will be the last technician remaining on the site during acceptance tests and production launch, at our customers' sites.
As an expert, commission machinery so that its mechanical, electrical, software and process functions perform to the contract specification
