    I am currently working with a National law firm who are looking to appoint a Corporate Partner into their Birmingham office.

    This an opportunity to join one of the leading national law firms who have a fantastic client base and who are looking for a bright and ambitious individual to step into this role.

    You will either be a Junior Partner in your current law firm or a driven senior associate who is able to demonstrate a strong client following and network of contacts.

    West Midlands / Birmingham City Centre

    You will be joining a national team of well respected corporate lawyers all of whom are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

    You will be given the full support of the wider national team but this is your project and your team to build and develop.

    You will be given the remit to build and develop the Birmingham corporate offering and will have some excellent connections locally which will help you build and develop the corporate practice in the Midlands.

    The ideal Corporate Solicitor will have excellent academics and have gained eight or more years of post-qualification experience within corporate law at another recognised law firm.

    The Solicitor should have a wealth of knowledge in all areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements.

    It would be a distinct advantage if applicants had prior experience of supervising other members of the team as, due to the experience level required for this appointment, the Corporate Solicitor will be expected to use their experience and expertise to help other members of the team reach their full potential.

    This, however, is not mandatory and full management and leadership training will be provided.
