Interim Senior Finance Project Manager - 12 month

Based:
Manchester (1-2 days office based)


Salary:
circa £600 day rate, outside IR35

Our client are a market leading, well-known business going through an exciting period of change internally. Due to new/future acquisitions, an internal restructure alongside the implementation of a new system, we are looking for a strong Project Managerto join the transformational role in a 12 month contract

This position will work in the transformation team, leading a small team of Project Managers within finance


Role:

  • Act as a Finance Project Manager producing workstream updates & RAIDS
  • Attending programme meetings internally to plan, execute and deliver projects within deadlines including managing resources and internal teams
  • Influencing stakeholders and managing escalations between Programme Managers and Finance SME's.
  • Delivering project updates through team updates, reporting and formalising decisions
  • Creating business cases for delivery, ensuring delivered on time and within budget
  • Establishing a clear and concise project plan by identifying and designing financial change and gaining input from internal stakeholders
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation to track progress, manage risk and issues and understand dependencies
  • Communicating financial standards, processes and systems of the business to allow automated financial reporting solutions
  • Driving alignment between management accounting, statutory accounting and board reporting approaches.
  • Conducting change impact analysis, assess change readiness, set goals and identify key stakeholders foe end to end project delivery
  • Develop and implement change management strategies with people workshops, communication and managing stakeholder expectations

Experience:


  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • PMO experience and strong understanding/proven experience
  • Strong organisations skills to schedule, coordinate at all business levels
  • Strong stakeholder relationship experience
  • Change management skills design and implementation of change communications
