Our client has recently moved into stunning, central Otley based premises. They are an established business who are rapidly expanding. Due to this expansion, they are looking to recruit an additional Credit Controller to join their established team.

Some Credit Control experience is preference, however reliability, excellent telephone manner and a willingness to learn are more important.

This is a site based role and comes with free parking. (Full time role - Monday-Friday)

As a Credit Controller, you will be part of a Credit Control team and you will be responsible for assisting with the resolution of queries within a timely manner, ensuring that all areas for risk are escalated and resolved.

Day to day duties:

Reviewing Suspense account weekly
Run monthly customer statements(nett monthly accounts)
Reviewing unallocated cash account weekly
Dealing with Invoice queries promptly and professionally
Chasing Cash in line with payment terms
Dealing with individual customer agencies giving good customer care
Keeping customers within their payment terms
Putting accounts on stop when necessary
Advise on taking legal action when necessary for agencies
Work towards weekly cash target
Promptly dealing with end user customer requests
Keeping both the agency and customer abreast of situations.
Updating Financials with all conversations and correspondence and diarising all calls
Escalating to manager when required.
Completing daily and weekly follow up calls.
