    As a Senior Radiographer at our Cheltenham Hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

    As a Senior Radiographer, you will:

    • See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
    • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre
    • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
    • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
    • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
    • Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

    Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is located in the beautiful area of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It has excellent transport links nearby, being very close to the M5 and A417. The hospital has 33 ensuite private bedrooms, 3 theatres and a small ambulatory unit. It also hosts a purpose built close observation unit, 12 consulting rooms with access to treatment rooms, diagnostic services including; plain x-ray, MRI, CT, mammography and ultrasound. We provide a full range of medical and surgical specialities delivered in state-of-the-art clinical facilities, including orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, spinal services, sports injury, ENT, gynaecology, urology, as well as a rapid access breast clinic.
