Field Service Engineer - Power Generation

Birmingham

Salary: £32,000 to £42,000 + Van + Door to Door (Potential Earnings: £45k to £50k)

Neos Engineering is collaborating with a key player in the Power Generation/ Renewable Energy sector. They are in search of a Service Engineer to join their growing team. This represents an excellent opportunity to advance & grow in the Energy field. The industry is transitioning towards sustainability, making this moment ideal to enter.

The perfect candidate for this position is an individual with hands-on experience in working with large diesel engines and carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs. Candidates from the marine, plant, CHP, or Generator sectors are preferred, given their exposure to diesel engines and control systems.

As a Field Service Engineer specializing in Power Generation, your daily tasks will involve working remotely from home and visiting power generation sites owned by the company or its clients. Your responsibilities will include servicing, maintaining, and repairing engines like Jenbacher, MTU, MWM, and Cummins. The company requires someone with electrical expertise to effectively troubleshoot engine control system faults.

Performing service, maintenance, and repairs on CHP Power Units – Jenbacher, MTU, Cummins, Caterpillar
