Job Role & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious hands on HR Specialist who wishes to expand their HR experience within a corporate, fast paced and growing environment.
As a HR Specialist reporting into the People Director, you will be responsible for managing and administrating the HR function in a multifaceted organisation.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Provide information and advice to employee queries on HR policies and procedures.
- Provide general administration support such managing employee files, drafting up letters and other People support activities. This will include having administration level access to the People system so an understanding of HR systems is advantageous. We are rapidly working towards a paper free operation.
- Keep track of and schedule in probation reviews and check point meetings, and any other significant moments of significance for our colleagues.
- Manage, maintain and monitor the annual leave and absence process.
- Work with the team on all engagement activities and take responsibility for monitoring UK engagement levels using pulse information.
- Create new ideas and content for People initiatives.
- Constantly maintain the culture of the Company incorporating the values of the Company.
- Commitment to own personal development.
What you will bring to us
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in HR/People teams.
- A HR qualification or working towards one which is accredited by CIPD.
- A strong team player.
- Effective communicator both written and verbally.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in organising own work and demonstrating effective time management.
- Excellence knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and HR packages including ATS's
- Proactive approach and ability to use your initiative to solve issues.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to travel on occasion to our other locations, this does mean international travel.
- Willingness to learn and understand European Employment Law or Specific country legislation.

Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
