    Description

    Medsolve arecurrently hiring for an amazing company who are looking for fulltime dedicated Senior Support Workersto provide quality personcentredsupport to Children and Young people who require structure in theirlives in the Sunderland area.

    This is aPermanent role and we offer a salary of13.00 per hour. Please note we do NOToffersponsorship.

    Shiftpattern is Days and/or Nights (12 hourShifts).

    As aSenior Support Workeryou will work alongside theManager in managing the home in an effective confidential mannerwhilst supporting our young people to progress positively throughreceiving encouragement understanding care and patience. You willwork with external agencies and attend relevant meetings asnecessary. All daily and specific paperwork will need to becompleted to a highstandard.

    Youwill undertake duties specific to Senior SupportWorkers such as updating risk assessments completingsupervisions supporting training plus offering support in dailytasks.

    We arelooking for Senior SupportWorkers with some of thefollowing skills andattributes:

    • Rightto Work in theUK
    • 6 MonthsUK experience of working within a similarsetting
    • 5years of professionalreferences
    • EnhancedDBS subscribed to the update service (or willing to getone)
    • RelevantQualifications(desirable)
    • Driver(or willing tolearn)

    level 3 Diplomain Social Care (018 year olds) Will require no furtherNVQ.

    Next DesirableQualifications

    level 3 Diplomain Adult social care (Will require doing 3 units of ResidentialCare level threeNVQ)

    NoQualifications requires full level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare(17 Units)
