Front of House and Operations Support (12 month FTC)

Salary:
£26,000 - $28,0000 per annum


This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Front of House and Operations Support role within an independent management consultancy.

This role sits within the Operations Team who are energetic, with a focus on quality outputs and excellent client experience.


Front of House and Operations Support Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact to all office users, providing a warm welcome to clients and staff.
  • Operating the switchboard in a warm, confident and friendly manner and taking messages accurately
  • Managing post/deliveries into and out of the firm
  • Ensuring all our facilities (meeting rooms, kitchen, meeting spaces, equipment in rooms, IT equipment etc) are of an exceptionally high standard, working efficiently, and are fully stocked and working.
  • Ensuring that all relevant legislation is adhered to, for example up to date PAT testing and fire extinguisher maintenance is carried out in a timely manner
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the building is paramount at all times, including maintaining alarm and building access passes
  • Assisting the firm with internal/external meeting room booking, room set up and catering for meetings/ workshops, providing ad hoc support as needed.
  • Support the Operations manager on any events and assist with organisation of smaller events held within the office, these include a variety of social events and clubs
  • Liaising with IT to provide simple 'first line' IT support
  • Booking, couriers, restaurants, and travel arrangements
  • Assisting the HR team by managing the facilities and operational requirements for interviews, new joiner induction and leavers process
  • Building relationships with both Partners, Consultants and colleagues in the Business Services team

Front of House and Operations Support Essentials:

  • 6 months of administration or office experience
  • Working in a highly customerfocussed environment, ideally prior experience of working within a professional services firm or other corporate environment
  • Communicating strongly and confidently with all levels of stakeholder within the company
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
