    Maths Learning Support Assistant - Tameside

    Job Title: Math Learning Support Assistant

    Job Type: Full-time (Term Time Only)

    Salary: £1400 - £1600, dependant on experience

    Location: Tameside

    Start Date: Summer term 2024

    Teaching

    The successful candidate will work closely with the math department to support students who require extra assistance with their math studies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    To provide one-to-one or small group support to students who require extra assistance with their math studies

    To assist the math department in planning and delivering effective lessons

    To help create resources and materials that will aid students' learning

    To monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback to both students and teachers

    To liaise with parents and carers regarding students' progress

    Requirements:

    A minimum of a Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Math

    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively

    The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

    A passion for helping students achieve their full potential

    Previous experience working in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
