Job Description

The job entails the following day-to-day tasks, all in-line with the established and approved productions methods:

Production and Quality Control of a large variety of buffers including purification and storage buffers, and DNA extraction reagents for internal and external customers.
DNA polymerase (Taq) production and Quality Control.
DNA polymerase (Taq) formulated ready-for-use.
Aliquoting/labelling of ready-to-use solutions.
Accurate maintenance of production records
Process improvement aligned to site goals and targets

Qualifications

Knowledge of PCR (polymerase chain reaction) / DNA cloning and sequencing
Proven attention to detail
Comfort following SOPs
MS Suite software, including MS Excel.
Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software, such as SAP, ORACLE would be an advantage
Prior experience of Quality Management Software would be an advantage

Demonstrated strong organisational skills

Planned process development
Reporting Return on Investment for any developed process
