- Production and Quality Control of a large variety of buffers including purification and storage buffers, and DNA extraction reagents for internal and external customers.
- DNA polymerase (Taq) production and Quality Control.
- DNA polymerase (Taq) formulated ready-for-use.
- Aliquoting/labelling of ready-to-use solutions.
- Accurate maintenance of production records
- Process improvement aligned to site goals and targets
- Stock checking
- Using appropriate equipment, including manual handling equipment.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of PCR (polymerase chain reaction) / DNA cloning and sequencing
- Proven attention to detail
- Comfort following SOPs
- MS Suite software, including MS Excel.
- Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software, such as SAP, ORACLE would be an advantage
- Prior experience of Quality Management Software would be an advantage
