currently seeking an experienced individual to join us in London on a staff basis as a Legal Counsel. The successful candidate will have 3-5+ years PQE and experience working on infrastructure, energy, O&G, Construction or Petrochemical projects.
This is a key role for us as we scale our team to take on this project and will have significant responsibility, offering an opportunity to progress and accelerate the candidate's knowledge & career progression.
ProfileQualified to practice law in the UK3-5+ years PQE gained either in-house or private practiceInfrastructure, O&G, Renewable Energy, Construction or Petrochemical experienceExperience working independently - drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts & agreementsKnowledge of UK legal system and ability to develop further to support business operationsAbility to articulate legal and contractual risks for managementResponsibilities Independently draft, review, negotiate and/or close various agreements like NDAs, terms for procurement of services or supplies, MoUs, Term-sheets etcIndependently manage contractual correspondence with counterparties in different kinds of contractsSupport the team in the closure of complex engineering and license agreements including EPC Contracts Provide general legal and compliance support to the business in areas such as employment law, data protection, corporate law, property related issues etcAdvise the management on risks and potential opportunities related to the above Coordinate with and supervise a variety of external legal advisorsInterface with various internal business units (Finance, Procurement, Accounting, Regulatory, Intellectual Property, etc.) to ensure contractual documents are drafted correctlyA competitive salary and benefits package is available.
