    Get ready to contribute significantly to the department's diverse activities, including Business Development and Learning & Development initiatives.

    The Competition Department:

    • With extensive experience in merger control, investigations, and litigation, our team possesses in-depth knowledge in this field.
    • We provide advice grounded in commercial insight into the clients' industries and goals, prioritizing clear communication.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • As a Competition Associate, you will handle a variety of tasks within the department, gaining exposure to different areas of practice.
    • Your work will involve merger control, national security, and foreign investment matters.
    • Support the corporate departments on competition law, merger control, national security, and foreign investment issues arising in their transactions.
    • Offer clients UK and EU competition law advice on specific cases.
    • Deliver ongoing competition law training to clients for compliance, dawn raids, and industry trends.
    • Advise on public procurement, State Aid, and UK subsidy control matters.
    • Assist in economic regulation matters, especially in the utilities sectors.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Proactive approach to prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
