We have an opportunity for a Lead Theatre Practitioner to jointheir team of staff in the Theatre department. This role will lead ourOrthopaedic Scrub Team and aid in the delivery of outstanding patientcare.All of our employees have access to industry-leadingclinical education and development programmes.

This is a Full time role for37.The role holder will be required to cover aflexible shift pattern.Registered Practitioner with NMC orHCPC registration.
First surgical assistant certificate (desirable)
Additionalskills in recovery and anaesthetics.
Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalentfunctional skills level 2 evidence.
Proficient in the use of aPC, including the use of software and systems.
Must be skilled in major Orthopaedics procedure andpreferably with SFA qualifications
To deliver safe quality care for patients duringtheir perioperative phase of care.
To lead and manage a team, coordinating stafftraining needs and resource requirements within a peri-operativefunction or surgical specialty.
Contribute to quality improvement.
Applylegislation, policies and procedures correctly.
Maintainknowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act. Ensuring appropriatemeasures are taken in respect of Health and Safety for patients,relatives, visitors, hospital staff and contractors.
Assemble, check and prepare the appropriate surgical equipment,instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operativeprocedures.
