    We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and energetic Class Teacher at our new purpose built school in Harlow.

    Applicants must be enthusiastic, with an understanding of and commitment to children with complex behavioural, social and emotional difficulties.

    Information about the School

    The Greenwell Academy will be offering a nurturing, inclusive environment for sixty four pupils with SEMH and associated needs with residential provision for fifteen pupils.

    We have high expectations for each child to leave as a confident young adult who is well prepared for the future.

    The school will open in 2023 and is sited in Harlow next to the Sir Frederick Gibberd secondary school.

    The Beckmead Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people so expect all staff and volunteers, as well as those who work on the premises, to share this commitment.

    As part of our safeguarding commitment, appointment to any post is subject to receipt of satisfactory references, medical clearance to include the ability to participate in Physical Intervention and a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check as well as evidence of the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

    We will also carry out an online search on shortlisted candidates to help identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online.
