RTA fraud department - Mix of fixed fee and hourly rate work - £25,000 - £35,000


RTA Fraud Fee Earner - delegated / non-delegated - Bolton


RTA Fraud Fee Earner - This established motor fraud team is looking for an experienced fee earner to handle litigated RTA cases where there is suspicion that the claim is fraudulent.

The hiring managers are looking for paralegals, litigation executives, legal executives or solicitors with demonstrable RTA Fraud experience. Experience of handling pre-litigated and litigated RTA fraud cases would be ideal.

Previous Experience:Previous experience handling pre-litigated and litigated RTA fraud cases would be ideal but the opportunity is also open to RTA fee earners without any fraud experience.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Assess case strategy from a technical and commercial standpoint
  • Assess when appropriate to litigate
  • Provide advice on matters of indemnity including appropriate case law
  • Where potential fraud is identified, investigate in line with firm strategy.
  • Undertaking advocacy where required.
  • Legal Research
- compile written reports in line with client SLAs, keeping client informed and updated where necessary

  • Advise on recovery and enforcement where appropriate.
  • Pursue the rapid and economic settlement of cases where fraud ruled out.

Required skill set

  • Background in handling prelitigated RTA and litigated fraud matters;
  • A working knowledge of the CPR
  • Sound advocacy skills
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent prioritisation skills with the ability to keep to deadlines and work under pressure.
