    We are looking for a creative, inspiring, sharing, collaborative and thoughtful practitioner to help lead our Social Sciences department. We want someone who values Social Sciences who understands the value and importance that these subjects play in the overall development of our young people and as a result, someone who will be able to enthuse our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students with their passion.

This is a fabulous opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher wishing to develop their career teaching KS4 and A level in an outstanding school.

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with good knowledge and and relevant experience of teaching Social Science in a secondary school across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
  • Has sound understanding of the effective pedagogy in Social Science
  • Has a passionate commitment to Social Science and the ability to enthuse and inspire young people across the full ability range
  • Has a positive, confident and forward-looking approach to the teaching of Social Science including provision of opportunities for students to learn in a practical way Is a team player with a can-do approach
  • Has a commitment to personal, professional development and becoming the best that you can be.
