    Junior Scientific Sales Rep

    Territory:
    South UK (Remote, Field based)

    Salary:
    £30-35K + £10K Commission + Company Car

    We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Field Sales Representative who is actively looking to break into scientific laboratory sales.

    As a Junior Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities within the science, engineering and technology laboratories across the South of the UK.

    The company will provide in depth, continuous sales and product training for the right candidate.

    All they ask for in return is a genuine interest and understanding in scientific principles, the hunger to learn new concepts and the ability to communicate scientific ideas and information effectively – and first and foremost, the desire for a successful career away from the laboratory in scientific sales.

    This is a highly autonomous role and the role requires a high level of confidence and self-motivation.

    This is a remote position that will involve 3-4 days a week spent travelling to customer sites in order to develop new and existing customer relationships, discuss needs and challenges and uncover new sales opportunities.

    1 to 2 days per week will be spent carrying out sales administration activities including email follow ups and preparing quotations and booking new face to face meetings for the week ahead.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Scientific, Engineering or related field.
    • Results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel throughout the South UK territory and to the Company HQ as required.
    • A full UK driving licence and the right to live and work in the UK
