Location: Based at one of the Adur Health Partnership sites
Overview
We are a KSS Deanery training practice with 7 Trainers across our Partnership. We welcome BSMS medical students, F2 Doctors, GP Registrars and this year we will be hosting Physician Associate Students. Our Partners have a strong commitment to training future clinicians. We host evening education sessions as well as closure of the practice for Protected Learning Events for all staff during the year.
Main duties of the job:
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
We are an innovative practice and we are always looking for different approaches to working in order to reduce the workload burden on GPs and other staff. This currently includes E-Consultation Hub, Path GP remote working, GP Assistants and involvement in the Collaborative practice initiative.

Our practice is quite unique in that our practice is our PCN footprint. We have a number of PCN staff and they are firmly embedded into our practice, we do not differentiate between our PCN staff and practice staff, we are one supportive team. Amongst other PCN staff we have an amazing Pharmacy Team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians and Medicine Management Care Co-Ordinator.
We have 36,500 patients and are based over 4 sites across Shoreham-By-Sea and Southwick, all sites are within 10 minutes drive of each other. You will have a main base site but may be expected to work across during exceptional circumstances. We welcome applicants from newly qualified GPs as well as experienced GPs.
