Description
The Development department is critical in enabling the Museum to realise its ambitions.

In the last 15 years over £170 million has been raised for FuturePlan:
the V&A's extensive programme of capital redevelopment.

The Directors Circle and Young Patrons Circle are dynamic routes of cultivating senior philanthropic partnerships via two ambitious programmes of private tours, events, and international study trips:

while the V&A Membership scheme is one of the largest in the country, raising over £8m in support of the Museum's core activities last year.

In parallel, the Development team are successfully ensuring that funds are secured for acquisitions, exhibitions, curator posts and learning; in 2020/21 the department raised over £28 million for the Museum, across all streams.


The post holder will support the Senior Research Manager and Research Manager in the identification, collection, organisation, and analysis of research information on prospective donors, supporters, and issues of strategic importance to Development, and to the wider institution.
