Permanent / full time - 40 hours per week.Location:
Hybrid
As a Functional Assessor you will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
Our roles offer you the chance for a change of direction from the standard healthcare professional role, whilst providing you the opportunity to maintain and develop your clinical registration, skills, and knowledge.
We have great opportunities for development and progression within PFAS including Clinical Coaching, Training Roles, and Clinical Support Managers.By completing thorough assessments via telephone, video call, or face-to-face means you will assess how our claimant's disability/condition/illness impacts their functional ability on daily activities in a respectful, non-biased and reassuring manner.
With proven experience of working within a medical background you will;Member of the UK Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
21 Days AL (increasing to 25 days in January 2025) plus 8 bank holidays.
