- Carry out prevention and casework duties
- Assist service users in making informed decisions about housing options
- Allocate temporary accommodations according to policies
- Collaborate with team members for departmental efficiency
- Update data in internal systems
- Deliver prompt, high-quality customer service
- Prior experience in housing or support roles
- Familiarity with the Homelessness Reduction Act and relevant case law
- Thorough understanding of housing laws, welfare benefits beneficial
- Ability to manage caseloads and offer housing advice
- Strong organizational and deadline management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficient in organizing workload
- Skilled in working with sensitive data confidentially
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of the public sector and local authorities
- Hold a full UK driving license and have reliable transportation
- Good IT skills
