    Compliance Director

    Private Equity

    London – Up to £140,000

    Gresham Hunt has been retained on an exclusive search for a leading Real Assets Private Equity firm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm that is experiencing a high level of growth.

    Our client is a real assets private equity firm, with a global reach and involvement in a strong portfolio of companies and projects. They are looking for a Compliance Director, who will be responsible for the Compliance programme in the UK, with additional support to their global network. This will be a hands-on role, where you will be expected to own compliance responsibilities independently and with minimal direction.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Leading on-boarding of new funds and investors
    • Act as the main point of contact for Compliance matters for the UK team on behalf of the CCO
    • Manage and undertake the preparation of responses to KYC requests from third party banks and advisors
    • Drive interactions with the FCA, and ensure the implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks, processes, and policies
    • Support the CCO in reporting all relevant regulatory and compliance matters to the Company's board of Directors

    The successful candidate will have:

    • 7-15 Years' experience within Compliance within a Private Equity or Investment Management context
    • Strong knowledge of Compliance regulations pertaining to Private Equity and Real Assets, specifically AIFMD
    • Strong knowledge and practical experience of onboarding funds and investors
    • Proven experience in Compliance monitoring and controls
    • Knowledge of European requirements for AIFs is highly preferable, specifically Luxembourg regulations
    • Proven ability as a self-starter
    • Strong stakeholder management experience
    • Impeccable written and oral communication skills

    The successful candidate will be awarded a competitive salary, entitlement to performance bonus, and additional benefits.

    Candidates must be based in the UK with full right-to-work. Visa sponsorship is not possible at this time.
