    Description

    Job Description Energy Research Lab have developed transformative patent-protected, breakthrough technology (devices combining hardware and software) that delivers ultra efficient power conversion and distribution.

    They are leapfrogging all competition and bringing the archaic power architecture into the present day and readied for the future.

    The company is now on the cusp of commercialising the most efficient power technology on the planet with applications in multi-billion dollar strong-growth global markets ranging from super efficient lighting to computing.

    We are transitioning fast to commercialisation and require an exceptional Power Electronics Design and Developement Engineer to join our team.

    Design, development, and test of power electronics according to customer/project requirements.
    Commercial experience, at a hands-on design and development level, of at least:
    Translate project requirements into a design, development, and test plan under the supervision of a senior engineer.
    Collaborate with the Software Team to aid functional requirements.
    Build and verify circuit design with simulation and analysis.
    Engineering change management documentation.
    Plan and coordinate resources required for the project.
    Participate in project meetings.
    Design documentation- schematic, BOM, PCB layout files, magnetics drawings.
    Apply best practices in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT).
    Support lab Technicians(s) in preparations and interpretations of prototype builds and subsequent test data.
    Happy operating remotely, taking ownership and comfortable with shifting priorities.
